Will someone from the Upper Peninsula Surgery Center follow up with me after surgery?

A nurse or a paramedic from our staff will contact you after your surgery. They will make three separate attempts to contact you by phone, if they are unable to reach you the first time.  Please answer their questions truthfully and to the best of your knowledge about your recovery and your experience at the Upper Peninsula Surgery Center.

• All general surgeries, patients will be called 24 to 72 hours after your surgery.
• All total joint surgeries, patients will be called 24 to 72 hours, one week after and 30 days after your surgery.
• All cataract surgeries, patients will be called 24 to 72 hours and 90 days.
